OHMC 3 – 5 August 2015

The Operational Hospital Management Conference (OHMC) provides a platform where REAL issues in public health are discussed and debated to find workable solutions to ultimately improve patient care and to strengthen the district health system.
OHMC has a proud heritage over the last 12 years of providing an independent forum where committed people working in public health can discuss the challenges they face in an inclusive environment to debate possible solutions, whilst learning from one another across provincial lines and other barriers.

It is the only public showcase on the African continent where people with any kind of disability, their caregivers, families and friends can find the manufacturers, distributors, suppliers and service providers that offer everything necessary to improve the quality of life. The event advocates the full equality and participation of persons with disabilities into society and

to empower and equip people by making a meaningful contribution to their lives.

About the Conference:

The OHMC aims to assist healthcare management with practical hands-on solutions to meet the ever increasing demands being placed on resources with regard to allocation of resources, tight budgets, limited staffing levels, challenging patient loads, coupled with serving a public very aware of their rights and what that entails. Facility tours have returned this year and will include three different facilities the day before the conference for limited delegates (on a first booked basis) to see first-hand how others have faced their unique challenges.
